My story as a Film Editor started in 2008 with Giuseppe Bertolucci's 'Officinema' course on Film Editing at the Cineteca di Bologna.
Since then I have gained a wide range of editing experience including; short-films, animated television series, feature documentaries and feature films, collaborating with industry professionals such as Matt Hill, Petra Korner, Martyn Pick, Amit Gupta, Catherine Yass, Bill Thomas, Lorenzo Renzi, Franz Pagot, Emma Miranda Moore, Ed Bignell and many others.
My most recent work includes the documentary 'Titian - Behind Closed Doors', directed by Matthew Hill for BBC2 and the internationally distributed animated series 'Robozuna', produced by KidsCave Studios for ITV Global and Netflix. The latest feature film I've cut, ‘Trouble will find us’, with director Alex Milo Bischof, has recently been selected and premiered at Busan International Film Festival. One of my most recent short film project ‘Lit’ won the Main Award at Depict! at Encounters Film Festival 2019 and the Raindance Film Festival 1MinuteHeartache competition.
I was nominated in the Best Editor category at Underwire Festival 2018 for my work on ‘SWARM’. Directed by Emma Miranda Moore, the short was also an official selection at the BAFTA recognised Aesthetica Short Film Festival (ASFF) and has screened globally in multiple festivals.
Earlier this year I was appointed Governor of the Board of BFE (British Film Editors), and have since then been organising a series of online events 'A Virtual Glass of Wine with...', with guests such as Una Ni Dhonghaile, John Grover, Celia Haining, Tony Kearns, Colin Goudie, Axel Geddes, Skip MacDonald, Yorgos Mavropsaridis, John Venzon, Chris Wyatt and Joel Cox.
