My story as a Film Editor started in 2008 with Giuseppe Bertolucci's 'Officinema' course on Film Editing at the Cineteca di Bologna.

 

Since then, I moved to London in 2010 and have worked successfully across all film genres, from drama and documentary to comedy and animation, with a talented range of collaborators including Joy Wilkinson, Matt Stronge, Victoria Thomas, Matt Hill, Petra Korner, Martyn Pick, Maria Martinelli, Amit Gupta, Catherine Yass, Bill Thomas, Lorenzo Renzi, Franz Pagot, Emma Miranda Moore, Ed Bignell and many others.

I recently worked on the new season of Spitting Image for Avalon, which gained me a Best Edited Comedy nomination for the BFE Awards 2026.

Prior to that I worked at Jellyfish Pictures on Dog Man (Dreamworks) and The Twits (Netflix).

The latest feature I cut, “7 Keys", directed by Joy Wilkinson, produced by Jeva Films, premiered at SXSW ’24 and was selected for FrightFest and Dinard Film Festival.

My previous feature Redenzione (Redemption), directed by Maria Martinelli for Kamera Film, was in the official selection at the 40th edition of Turin Film Festival in 2022. Before that, a feature I edited called ‘Trouble Will Find Us’, directed by Alex Milo Bischof, won Best UK Feature at Manchester Film Festival ’21.

I became a full voting BAFTA member in 2023, joined AMC in 2024, and in 2020 I was appointed Governor of the Board of BFE (British Film Editors), and have since then been organising a series of online events 'A Virtual Glass of Wine', with guests such as Una Ni Dhonghaile, John Grover, Celia Haining, Tony Kearns, Col Goudie, Axel Geddes, Skip MacDonald, Yorgos Mavropsaridis, John Venzon, Chris Wyatt, Joel Cox...
